Entry Level Software Developer (Java/Python)

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field - Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities - Capability to research and implement solutions using online resources - Technical proficiency with strong problem-solving skills - Familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript - Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and eagerness to learn - Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively within a team - High standard of professionalism and ethical conduct - Creative technical problem-solving experience is a plus - Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience with React, Ruby on Rails, and SQL is advantageous - Background in Java, web development, or Python is beneficial - Knowledge of the Selenium test suite is preferred

Responsibilities:

- Develop new features for existing software based on outlined specifications - Diagnose, debug, and test new functionalities - Propose effective solutions for issues in current software - Define implementation details for new functionalities and features - Keep accurate records of issues in existing code and recommend improvements - Maintain documentation for newly created code - Apply fixes and updates to front-end code - Assist fellow developers in implementing new features - Create tests and amend existing tests in the automated testing framework
