Entry Level Software Engineer (Java/Python)

Requirements

Must have:

- Pre-existing mechanical skills and a desire to learn - Ability to grasp various technical skills - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to work varied shift schedules - Enthusiasm and readiness to learn rapidly - Must pass a mechanical aptitude test - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship - Must be 18 years or older to apply - Reliable transportation and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed - Flexibility to cover multiple shifts (AM/PM) - Ability to obtain a passport - Must be comfortable lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds - Physical ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and climb as required

Responsibilities:

- Perform services and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment on-site - Operate within a cleanroom environment, adhering to PPE protocols - Set up and operate equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and operations teams to resolve equipment issues and reduce production downtime - Conduct tasks safely, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs - Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and maintain required records and reports - Respond to emergency service calls as necessary - Train customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance - Implement upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed - Stay updated on equipment and tools through relevant training and resources - Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while following instructions
