Entry-level Software Engineer

Entry-level software engineer: web, database, and native mobile applications

This position is for an entry-level software engineer with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. We’ll start you off with a paid three month training program in which you will work on a variety of real-world applications, including both internal and client-facing applications and databases.

We are seeking a candidate who is interested in learning both web and mobile app development. We utilize the following technologies:

• ASP.NET MVC / SQL Server - an outstanding platform and framework with a clear separation of concerns and powerful features for creating sophisticated web applications.
• iOS / Objective C - iOS development platform for developing native iPhone and iPad applications.
• Android / Java - Android development platform for developing native Android phone and tablet applications.

Our team has extensive expertise in all of these platforms, and in addition to three months of real-world training as a developer, you will receive their direct assistance and support as you grow and begin developing your own applications.

Once you advance and join our team as a full-fledged software engineer, you will receive a pay increase and additional responsibilities, including application architecture, development, team collaboration, and involvement in the QA process.

Skills required are

• Programming experience, ideally with an MVC-based platform
• SQL and database experience
• Understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming principles
• Ability to analyze and optimize algorithms for performance
• Debugging skills to identify the root cause of problems and creatively solve them

Tecture works on many projects throughout the year. You’ll work on both internal and client projects, for a wide range of clients, ranging from startups to established businesses.

A freak accident that involved you licking a radioactive ice cream cone caused a dramatic change in your genetic make-up, allowing you to focus your efforts towards perfecting clear communication with one type of animal.
