• *About The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Web Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing high-performance data visualization interfaces and reusable component libraries tailored for complex telemetry data. Your work will focus on creating intuitive user interfaces that facilitate data exploration, especially when handling large-scale, real-time datasets. You will collaborate closely with backend teams to design and implement APIs that ensure seamless and efficient user experiences. As an early engineer at SIFT, you will have the opportunity to influence the architecture of our platform, participate in technical design discussions, and contribute to shaping our company culture. This role offers a unique chance to work on foundational systems supporting mission-critical machines, providing complex technical challenges and the opportunity to build impactful solutions from the ground up.

• *Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience in building web applications and data-driven tools
• Proficiency with React, NextJS, and TypeScript in production environments
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and browser rendering techniques
• Experience with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
• Familiarity with component libraries like Radix UI for building design systems
• Experience in creating data visualization tools and interfaces
• Knowledge of WebGL, D3.js, or Apache ECharts is a plus
• Understanding of WebAssembly and browser-based computation is advantageous
• Background in scientific computing or technical data visualization preferred
• Experience developing tools for technical users, including dashboards and data editing environments
• Track record of building and launching side projects with consistent user engagement
