About The Role Capnexus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-impact insurance project. This role involves working within a diverse, multinational team to develop scalable, cloud-native solutions for a modern insurance platform. The ideal candidate thrives in serverless environments, enjoys working across the full technology stack, and is comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, distributed setting.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications that meet high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. Your contributions will directly influence the success of the insurance platform, ensuring it remains competitive and innovative in the digital landscape.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over five years of professional experience in software development, demonstrating strong hands-on expertise with TypeScript and React.js. Proven experience building backend services using AWS Lambda within a serverless architecture is essential. Candidates should have solid knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including API Gateway, AppSync, S3, and CloudWatch, along with experience working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL for data modeling and storage.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with real-time technologies like WebSockets, understanding of microservices principles, REST and GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD pipelines are important. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication within remote or distributed teams are critical.

Preferred qualifications include experience with AI tools, AWS certifications, a background in insurance, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.

Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications utilizing React.js and TypeScript. You will build and optimize backend services leveraging AWS Lambda in a serverless environment, ensuring high performance and scalability. Developing and integrating APIs through AWS AppSync, GraphQL, and WebSockets for real-time features will be a key aspect of your role.

You will work with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data modeling and storage solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product, and QA—in a distributed, multinational environment is essential to deliver high-quality solutions. You will contribute to architectural decisions, establish best practices across the stack, and ensure the reliability and security of applications.

Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform and internal processes.
