Full Stack Software Engineer (Junior)

Location: Miami, FL (On-site) Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 (based on skill and experience) Experience: 0–3 years (or self-taught with strong portfolio)

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, motivated Full Stack Developer to join our Miami team. You'll be working on a modern JavaScript and React codebase, building features end-to-end alongside experienced engineers. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who's hungry to learn, ships clean code, and wants real ownership of features from day one. Skill matters more to us than years on a résumé if you can build it, we want to talk.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features across our React frontend and JavaScript backend
• Develop and consume REST APIs
• Translate designs and product requirements into clean, working UI
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve performance of existing features
• Collaborate directly with senior developers, product, and design

What We're Looking For

• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and React
• Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and modern frontend tooling
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs in Node.js (or similar JS backend)
• Basic experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow technically
• Able to work on-site in Miami

Bonus Points

• Personal projects, GitHub portfolio, or open-source contributions
• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Redux
• Exposure to Docker or any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Bootcamp graduate, CS degree, or compelling self-taught background
• Internship, freelance, or junior dev experience on a real production app
