Ally Waste ServicesAlly Waste is a leading provider of premium valet trash, bulk removal, and onsite waste support services for multifamily residential communities.
We're building next-generation technology to streamline operations, improve resident experience, and optimize logistics, route planning, and sustainability. As we scale, we're looking for engineers who want to make a real impact in an industry ripe for innovation.
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can drive development across our product stack, from backend services to rich client-side UIs. You will help build tools that power operations, analytics, routing,
resident engagement, and support systems.
In this role, you will:
Design, build, and maintain scalable web services and applications using (or Bun) and React.
Contribute to both the frontend and backend architecture, ensuring modularity, performance, and maintainability.
Work closely with product, operations, and design stakeholders to deliver features that solve real-world problems in waste management and community services.
Integrate with third-party services (e.g. mapping / routing APIs, logistics, notifications).
Build dashboards, admin tools, and real-time data visualizations for internal operations teams.
Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scale.
Mentor junior developers and positively influence team practices and culture.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent robust experience.
Strong hands-on experience with and React in production systems.
Experience building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
Solid understanding of modern frontend architectures, state management, component design, and frontend tooling.
Experience or strong willingness to work with Node/Bun runtime (preferred).
Experience deploying, managing, and scaling services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containers, and deployment best practices.
Startup or high-growth company experience—comfortable wearing many hats, making decisions, iterating fast, and adapting as priorities evolve.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript (backend and frontend).
Experience with real-time / WebSockets / push notification systems.
Exposure to data pipeline, analytics, or ETL workflows.
Knowledge of routing, geospatial data, map APIs (e.g. Google Maps, Mapbox) or logistics/dispatch systems.
Experience with container orchestration, serverless architectures, or microservices.
Passion for sustainability, smart infrastructure, urban systems, or proptech.
