Full Stack Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- We require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and you must be willing to pursue a CI polygraph.

• We look for a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted, and a masters degree may add to the experience requirement.
• We expect 8+ years of hands-on experience in programming, system design, and software development.
• We need strong proficiency in Python, Java, or a comparable programming language.
• We value practical experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman, as well as orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Nomad.
• We require experience with ORM tools such as Django, SQLAlchemy, or Hibernate.
• We need solid working knowledge of Linux, including file system navigation and standard administration commands.
• We expect understanding of TCP/IP networking and familiarity with remote system workflows such as SSH, port forwarding, and client/server architecture.
• We prefer exposure to cloud-like environments such as OpenStack.
• We look for familiarity with agile development methods and tools such as GitLab.
• You must be able to work onsite in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities:

- We develop web applications that support real-time querying and analysis of our petabyte-scale data store.

• We build distributed analytics capabilities designed to support our mission partners.
• We help create new data pipelines and maintain existing ones that automatically retrieve and ingest data.

This is an in-person role based in Herndon, VA, with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $200,000+ per year, depending on education, experience, skills, and other qualifications.
