Role: Full Stack Engineer – Java / React

We are looking for a strong
Full Stack Engineer with hands-on experience building enterprise applications using
Java and React, along with experience working in
HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
- Develop responsive, reusable frontend components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and develop efficient data-access solutions.
- Build secure applications that handle PHI/PII and healthcare data in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and access-control mechanisms.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, CI/CD, and production support.
- Deploy and support applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases and database design.
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience working with HIPAA-compliant applications or healthcare systems handling PHI.
- Understanding of HIPAA-related controls around data privacy, access management, encryption, audit logging, and secure transmission/storage of healthcare data.
Preferred
- Experience with healthcare platforms, payer/provider systems, EHR/EMR applications, or healthcare integrations.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or other distributed-system technologies.
