Net2Source (N2S)*** is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Full Stack Developer (Java/Oracle) to work in the Workplace Investing Group in Durham, NC.
The TeamThe Workplace Investing (WI) Platform technology group within Fidelity Investments is tasked to develop and maintain technology solutions supporting Fidelity's Defined Contribution (DC) business.
The platform serves plan sponsors in the configuration of their DC plans and operates in a mixed-technology environment (Java, Spring, Angular, Oracle) across multiple tiers (web server, app server, DB).
The RoleIn this role you will lead design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the programs strategic direction.
Specifically, you will be working on a tool used by the FFA to communicate with Fidelitys clients. This tool is a dashboard and active tracker for the Fidelity Flex Administrator team and other possible users. The tool is used to ensure compliance in a number of areas such as missing participants email to contribution errors.
This squad is responsible for rebuilding the tool modernizing the tech stack, and improving functionality while bringing on additional Product Lines.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Proven experience writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code
Proven understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
Experience with middleware Java stack, Restful Services and Spring frameworks
Experience of AWS services and deployment
Exposure to SQL/PLSQL stored procedures
Experience with UI tech stack desirable: HTML, JavaScript, and Angular 8+
Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to CI/CD.
Passionate about engineering excellence with a strong understanding of object-orientated programming.

Fully engaging in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design and code reviews and regression testing.
Working to improve engineering practice in the areas of ATDD and CI/CD.
Engaging in working with distributed team of developers in leading standard methodologies for software engineering
