Full Stack Engineer

NF & IWS Systems is an analysis, software development and production support organization. NF & IWS team supports multiple squads across multiple domain / tribe. NF & IWS systems supports distributed and mainframe applications across 6 different products. Key applications include Intermediary Billing, Generic Rules Engine (GRE), Commissions, Transmissions, WealthScape's Account Search and Client Implementations.

The Purpose of Your Role

NF & IWS systems supports multiple squads across multiple domain / tribe. The person onboarding on this squad will contribute on UI Development, Web Services, Back end Stored Procedures, DevOps and Deployment (Cloud) to automate the Contract Billing process.

You will be working with other members in the Contract Billing Automation Squad, to achieve common goals of the squad.

As a member of application development team, the person will be responsible for the following set of activities on daily basis:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Crafts applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for applications supporting.

Responsible for end to end processing, post-installation testing of any problems.

Works on complex assignments on Agile based.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.Analysis, design and development of software applications in the finance space that may include building in-house proprietary applications as well as integrate with various vendor applications.

Skills and Knowledge:

The candidate should posses the following skills and knowledge to be successful in this role.

Must have:

Preferred all but a must have expertise in at least three components of the following full stack technologies:Expertise in Object-oriented design and Java/J2EE Web development within UNIX and Windows environments using: design patterns within core Java, JDBC, Spring framework, Multi-threaded and Concurrent asynchronous applications development; Write unit and functional test cases for the code.

Expertise in SPA based UI development utilizing client-side technologies like HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, Angular 6+, and WebSockets; Write unit and functional test cases for UI based unit testing.

Experience writing complex Oracle PL/SQL, functions, and stored procedures on Oracle 12 for complex processing workflows.Experience performing database application build, deployment, and support using continuous integration and build tools Maven, Stash (Git), Jenkins, Docker (Images and Containers), Artifactory, Spring cloud config, and uDeploy.

Nice to have:

Experience working in a cloud / container environment to build containerized applications for deployment in public / private cloud hosting environments.
