Fullstack Engineer – React/Node.js + AWS + Python

Duration: Long term contract

Location: Boston, MA – Onsite preferred; Remote considered for exceptionally strong candidates

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in React, Node.js, AWS, and Python to support application development and modernization initiatives for a leading financial services organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development capabilities, experience building scalable web applications, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Candidates should be comfortable working across the frontend and backend while contributing to architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and Python .
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js .
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js and Python .
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and cloud services.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, development, and code reviews.
• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot application issues and support production deployments.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js .
• Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Strong programming experience with Python .
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services .
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs .
• Strong understanding of full-stack application architecture.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with distributed teams.
