Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python / React / SQL)

Client: American Express

Location: Phoenix (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python, React, and SQL to join a high-impact team at American Express. This role focuses on building scalable, data-driven applications and modern user interfaces that support critical business functions. You will work across the stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full stack applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend)
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces for data-driven applications
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the application stack

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and React
• Solid experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong understanding of modern web development practices and frameworks
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite in Phoenix)
