Full Stack Java Developer

About The Role

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React technologies. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and distributed delivery teams to build high-quality digital solutions.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and related technologies.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that support business-critical applications.
• Perform hands-on coding, debugging, testing, code reviews, and application performance optimization.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to support successful project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Irving, Texas. What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience building full-stack solutions using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and code quality skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience implementing AI chatbot, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or Generative AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with distributed teams.

These will help you stand out

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
• Experience mentoring and leading technical discussions.
• Understanding of application security, scalability, and performance best practices.
