Team Dynamics: 1 US Scrum team & 3 offshore teams in Bangalore / ChennaiThe Full Stack Developer (Angular/Mid-Tier Developer) is primarily responsible for ensuring effective, efficient and high quality java development to meet the defined project business objectives.
Possesses strong design and technical skills with deep knowledge of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
Working knowledge of and experience (personal or professional) with Angular 2 framework
3-5 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
NodeJS experience a BIG PLUS
Knowledge of native DOM and Event API's
Knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies
Experience building front-end code with server-side technology
Familiarity and comfort with command-line applications, source control, testing frameworks and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams
Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security and usability
Knowledge of browser internals like Javascript engines and ways to tune code for best performance
Develop User Interface and Mid-Tier Software Development using JAVA/J2EE technologies.
Write source code, adapt existing components, and test the developed components as units
Creating test stubs and test data as necessary
Perform data analysis and database development, design and implementation.
Woking knowledge of Agile development, Continuous Integration/Delivery, and DevOps
Participant effectively in daily SCRUMs, team and project meetings, calls, etc. in a wide variety of roles ranging from facilitator, to requestor, to solutions coordinator, to consultant.
Fosters teamwork and spirit of collaboration and commitment within the project team
Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 3 years industry experience in a software engineering capacity
2 or more years web application development experience in Java/J2EE.
Worked on a development team through at least one major development cycle
Experienced with SQL and stored procedures. Oracle database preferred.
Experience with the following technologies:
Spring, iBatis, XML/XSLT, SOAP/Web Services, and RAD6 or Eclipse Platform.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work closely with teammates to solve problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall product architecture.
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
