Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Duluth, GA (Hybrid)
Permanent, Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level web applications and APIs. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, modernize existing platforms, build scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that supports critical business operations.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Vue3, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Vuetify, Pinia, and Vite.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js/NestJS, Java/Spring Boot, and Python.
- Modernize legacy systems through SOAP-to-REST API migrations.
- Develop scalable solutions leveraging IBM DB2, MongoDB, Prisma ORM, and IBM MQ.
- Create reusable components, shared libraries, and service frameworks.
- Implement automated testing, maintain code quality standards, and achieve strong test coverage.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6-9 years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with
- Vue3, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Node.js/NestJS, Java/Spring Boot, Python
- REST APIs and microservices architecture
- IBM DB2, MongoDB
- Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD
- Automated testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, JUnit, pytest, or Mocha
- Experience building secure applications using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OWASP best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Apigee or other API management solutions.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Relevant cloud, development, or security certifications.
