About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our remote team, based in Latin America, working within the EST/PST time zones. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a talented group of engineers in the SaaS and big data domains.

As a key member of the web development team, you will be responsible for enhancing our existing JavaScript codebase, architecting scalable applications, and integrating third-party APIs and services. You will work closely with product managers and development teams to design and implement innovative solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality, well-tested JavaScript applications and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, and GraphQL, each with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. A solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential, along with proven expertise in front-end development and application architecture. Candidates should demonstrate self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a passion for problem-solving.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with multiple back-end languages like C#, Java, or Python, experience with backend development, RESTful web services, and database management using SQL and NoSQL solutions. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing Typescript and JavaScript codebases to improve performance and scalability.
• Architect application frameworks, including component hierarchy, authentication mechanisms, and error handling strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly.
• Design and implement the front-end build, deployment, and continuous integration pipelines to streamline development workflows.
• Work closely with product managers and development teams to conceptualize and develop innovative software solutions.
• Design both client-side and server-side architecture to ensure robust and scalable applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
