Full Stack Software Engineer (Angular, Java)

Requirements

Must have:

- We need someone who can obtain a Security Clearance and who is a U.S. citizen.

• We are looking for a software engineer with 5+ years of professional development experience.
• You should have strong foundations in object-oriented programming.
• You should bring experience with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL.
• You should be comfortable working with REST APIs and web services.
• You should demonstrate the ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly.
• You should be open to 5%-10% travel.
• Bonus: professional experience with Java or Angular.
• Bonus: hands-on experience with GIS or mapping technologies.
• Bonus: experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure as code.
• Bonus: experience in regulated environments or working alongside cleared personnel.
• Bonus: database administration or performance tuning experience.
• Bonus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.

Responsibilities:

- We will have you build and maintain applications using Java and Angular.

• We will have you design and consume REST and GraphQL APIs.
• You will work across the full request lifecycle, from the database through to the user interface.
• You will design database schemas and write efficient queries.
• You will deploy and run services in cloud environments.
• You will improve monitoring, logging, and overall system reliability.
• You will support incident response and root cause analysis.
• You will help keep systems stable in mission-critical environments.
• In the first few months, you will maintain and support legacy systems while learning our engineering practices.
• After that, you will transition into our core development team and contribute to our modern platform.
