Job description
Requirements
Must have:
- We require U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security investigation and access to sensitive information; Green Card holders and visa holders are not eligible.
- We require a bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; a masters degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- We are looking for a practitioner who will design architecture and write the code, not a manager or executive.
- We need strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as C, C , Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
- We expect substantial experience with containerization, microservices architectures, and data platforms including Docker, GraphQL Mesh, gRPC, REST, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- We value exposure to or a strong interest in scientific computing, CUDA/GPGPU programming, PyTorch, TensorFlow, digital signal processing, and college-level physics and mathematics such as linear algebra and acoustics.
- We want someone who demonstrates intellectual humility, works independently, and remains receptive to peer feedback and technical challenge.
- We need excellent communication skills, including the ability to turn complex mathematical and AI concepts into clear, actionable software designs.
- We look for a track record of taking projects from concept to delivery with minimal oversight and overcoming major technical setbacks.
- We need someone who can handle fast-paced, high-pressure work with composure and maintain professionalism under technical pressure.
Responsibilities:
- We build and deploy robust full-stack applications that connect research-grade computational models with production-ready systems.
- We design user interfaces that are technically sound, intuitive, and scientifically accurate for complex scientific and operational data.
- We implement secure-by-design code and help ensure compliance with evolving CMMC and NIST 800-171/53 standards within an automated CI/CD pipeline.
- We use AI-augmented engineering workflows to speed up the movement of machine learning models into field-ready prototypes.
- We develop 3D geospatial displays with React and BabylonJS/CesiumJS to visualize real-time acoustic wave propagation and sonar simulation data.
- We architect secure, containerized backends using Golang and Python with microservices patterns and interfaces such as gRPC and GraphQL Mesh.
- We collaborate with our research scientists to integrate high-performance GPGPU pipelines, including CUDA and TensorFlow, into deployed full-stack applications.
- We work across the full lifecycle from concept and design through testing, deployment, and field integration.
