Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python/React Focus) Columbia, MD | Full Time | TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Position: Full-Stack Software Engineer Location: Columbia, MD (on-site) Category: Software Engineering / Full Stack Development Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Experience Requirement: 12+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Description We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to support a fast-paced data analytics team focused on improving operational workflows and enabling data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will design and deliver custom applications that provide data visualization, workflow automation, and enhanced visibility into mission-critical activities. You will work directly with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate rapidly, and deliver impactful solutions across a wide range of technical challenges.
This environment requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to build solutions end-to-end in a highly collaborative, customer-focused setting.
Responsibilities Develop scripts and analytics to generate insights from complex and unique data sets Aggregate and integrate data from disparate sources into new and existing applications Design and build user interfaces and visualizations to improve data accessibility and understanding Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end users and stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and improve overall capabilities Architect, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions from concept through deployment Skills Requirements Experience developing in Python, particularly for data transformation and analytics Experience building frontend web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React Experience working in big data environments Experience developing on and managing Linux-based systems Ability to work directly with users to solve complex, ambiguous problems Strong desire to design and implement solutions end-to-end Nice to Haves Experience with AWS Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, FastAPI, Angular, Spring Boot) Experience mentoring or teaching other engineers Knowledge of AI/ML and big data tools (e.g., DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark) Compensation Employment Policy Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
