About The Role
College Board is hiring a
Full Stack Software Engineer
to work on modern
AWS-based React and Node.js applications
supporting external, user-facing products. This is a long-term remote opportunity with a highly collaborative engineering team focused on new development, modernization of legacy systems, automation, and scalable cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on full stack developer with
strong React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), Node.js, and AWS serverless experience
, and can work independently in a remote Agile environment.
Must-have Skills
- Strong React.js development experience
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6) skills
- Solid Node.js backend development experience
- Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and SNS/SQS
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Experience deploying applications to AWS
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Automated testing (API and E2E)
- AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Event-driven architecture
- Agile/Scrum environment experience
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS
