Job description

Salary: $85,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a .NET Developer with a robust portfolio of solutions delivered
  • High proficiency in C# and contemporary .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
  • Experience in developing or supporting mobile applications or mobile-responsive solutions utilizing frameworks such as .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or progressive web apps
  • Knowledge of automated QA practices, including unit testing, testing frameworks, and CI/CD integration
  • Proficient in database design and SQL development, particularly with SQL Server or similar platforms
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities across full-stack applications
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure for deployment and hosting
  • Previous work experience in ATO, FedRAMP, or other compliance-oriented environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, access control, logging, and audit requirements
  • Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation; active clearance is preferred
  • Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate, are advantageous
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based and mobile-ready applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies
  • Construct and sustain responsive, user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile platforms
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in compliance with secure coding standards and best practices
  • Engage in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, performance, and security compliance
  • Diagnose and rectify software defects and production issues promptly
  • Enhance applications for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and enterprise systems
  • Contribute to automated testing strategies, encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Support development efforts within ATO and FedRAMP-compliant environments, ensuring adherence to security controls, audit requirements, and documentation standards
  • Stay updated with advancements in .NET, web, mobile, and secure development practices
  • Collaborate closely with UI and UX teams to deliver intuitive and cohesive user experiences
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers as needed
  • Aid in the continuous improvement of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies within regulated environments
