Fullstack Java Developer

Job Title: Software Developer Level 2 (Java Full Stack Developer)

Location: Menands, NY (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer Level 2 to support the modernization and enhancement of the Clients Data Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java Full Stack development, REST APIs, relational databases, and modern web technologies.

Note: This is a 100% onsite role in Menands, NY. Candidates must be willing to work onsite throughout the contract. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications.

Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Java EE technologies.

Design and implement secure RESTful APIs.

Build and maintain Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular and TypeScript.

Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PostgreSQL database objects and queries.

Perform unit testing, debugging, defect resolution, and production support.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC best practices.

Support application releases and CI/CD deployment processes.

Collaborate with business analysts, technical managers, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.

Minimum 4+ years of software development experience.

4+ years of experience with:

Java

Spring Boot

Java EE (Servlets, JPA)

Oracle SQL and/or PostgreSQL

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
