Project/Program:

State Health Information Network for New York (SHINNY).

This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools.

Day-to-day Tasks:

The candidate will design and develop RESTful services for integration and support of SHIN-NY. The candidate will also perform continuous integration for build and deployment as well as work with relational and non-relational databases.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Software Developer–

Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.

Expert:

84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications:

• 84 months experience with all facets of the software development process, research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
• 84 months experience with Java framework and technology: Spring Boot, Java EE (servlet, JPA … etc.).
• 84 months experience with relational database platforms Oracle and Postgres.
• 60 months experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Single Page Web Applications using Angular and Typescript.
• 60 months experience with SPA fundamental concepts, component-based architecture, dynamic rendering, and asynchronous programming.
• 60 months experience with Git version control operations and branching strategies.
