Role: COBOL Developer – Hogan (RPM Team)

Contract to Hire

Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite/2 days remote in Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a skilled COBOL Developer to join our Hogan RPM team in a contract-to-hire capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Hogan systems and mainframe technologies, along with the ability to work in an Agile environment and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications within the Hogan RPM system
• Work across Hogan modules, including CIS and IDS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Provide guidance and training to junior developers
• Ensure high-quality code and system performance

Required Skills:

• Strong COBOL programming experience (Hogan or Non-Hogan)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Hogan RPM system
• Hogan CIS system
• Hogan IDS system
• Exposure to:
• IMS databases
• VSAM databases
• CICS
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to mentor and train junior team members

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ServiceNow
• DB2 database knowledge
