Requirements
Must have:
- Working knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) architecture, core concepts, and operational procedures - At least 2 years of experience programming in RPG and SQL - At least 5 years of experience in IT, data processing, or MIS
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and improve applications with RPG III, RPG IV, Free-Form RPG, and SQL on IBM i systems - Interpret business needs and convert them into practical technical solutions - Support order entry, fulfillment, and distribution workflows - Diagnose and quickly fix application and system-related issues - Work closely with our IT/MIS colleagues and internal stakeholders on projects and system enhancements - Take part in system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new functionality - Produce documentation for programs, procedures, and system modifications - Help preserve data accuracy and strong system performance
