Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Java and Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will drive CI/CD pipeline automation and deliver optimized SQL queries while contributing to robust Salesforce or Guidewire integrations .

Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java and Python Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable applications using advanced Java concepts, Spring Framework, and Python.
  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries to support highperforming backend services.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Harness NextGen.
  • Collaborate on technical design for Salesforce development, Guidewire integrations, or related digital solutions.
  • Develop and execute unit tests using mocking frameworks like Mockito or JMock to ensure code quality.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable endtoend solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of handson experience in Java, Python, SQL, and CI/CD development.
  • Proven expertise in advanced Java concepts, Spring Framework, and modern DevOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Harness).
  • Strong ability to design, integrate, and optimize solutions across Salesforce, Guidewire, or other digital platforms.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
