Should have good knowledge/understanding with C# .NET

They are not necessarily interested maintaining old code, but rather to help migrate, decommission, or make other recommendations. There may be some Word documentation for the application, but most likely not. These contractors will need to be very independent, and ideally will have worked on a migration/decommission effort.

Since the legacy systems have multiple technologies, it is important for this person to have a solid understanding of the Java stack, Spring Boot framework and hopefully knowledge of .NET, as some code is in the Microsoft stack.

This role focuses on assisting to migrate off legacy applications & data repositories. As such, exposure to multiple disparate systems may be required. Resourcefulness is required, as some systems may have minimal documentation.

Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements

Analyze technical system problems, and design and implement effective solutions

Handle end-to-end development, including coding, testing, and debugging during each cycle

Create applications using a server side framework (e.g. Spring, NodeJS, etc.; .NET experience a plus)

Execute data migration/validation

Investigate components of new tools and technologies

Create and maintain technical documentation
