Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire (conversion preferred but not guaranteed)

Cincinnati, OH (Blue Ash) – Onsite Monday–Thursday

Required Pay Scale:

$70–$75/hr (W2 or C2C)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Java Developer with a strong backend focus to support enterpise Merchandising & Supply Chain – Warehousing Engineering team.

This role will focus on building and enhancing backend integration services using Java and Spring, connecting retail Azure-based services with Manhattan's MAWM SaaS platform.

The work supports critical warehouse, transportation, yard, and labor management systems across enterprise divisions.The hiring manager is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including more junior developers, provided they demonstrate strong fundamentals and growth potential.

Project Details:

Development of a new integration service between retail systems and Manhattan MAWM SaaS

Support for warehouse claims processing applications across multiple divisions

Tech Stack:

Java, Spring, Azure, REST APIs, Angular (limited use)

Team Environment:

Existing team of 5–6 (Developers, DevOps, Analyst, Tech Lead)

Must Haves

Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Framework

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Understanding of integration patterns and service-based architectures

Ability to work onsite in the Cincinnati / Blue Ash area

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Desired Skills

Experience with Angular (v10+ preferred)

Background in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management systems

Exposure to claims processing workflows

Prior retail experience (strong plus — highlight team/project details)

Data analysis or data engineering experience
