Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, business rules, and UI policies.
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
• Configure ITSM, ITOM, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Portal solutions.
• Perform scripting, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to deliver solutions.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Integrate with external systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Design and implement database schema using Hibernate.
• Write unit tests and integration tests using JUnit and TestNG.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java.
• Proficient in Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database schema design and implementation.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs.
• ServiceNow development and administration.
• JavaScript, Glide Script, GlideRecord, GlideAjax.
• REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
• ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog.
• Agile/Scrum and ITIL knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based development environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
