Agility Partners is seeking a qualified

• *Java Developer

to fill an open position with one of our clients in the technology industry. This is an exciting opportunity to support full lifecycle application development while working with modern backend technologies and exploring new tools. In this role, you’ll work on designing, coding, and integrating applications within a dynamic engineering environment. You'll also contribute to system analysis, performance tuning, and the adoption of new technologies.

• *About the Gig:
• Design, code, and debug applications across a variety of software languages.
• Perform software analysis, code reviews, requirements gathering, and system risk evaluations.
• Develop object-oriented designs, front-end interfaces, and software models/simulations.
• Support, maintain, test, and document software functionality while ensuring strong system integration.
• *The Ideal Candidate:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong backend development experience using Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for service and API development.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles (OOA/OOD).
• Experience with software testing, QA processes, and performance tuning.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
• Nice to have: exposure to OpenShift, Legacy Development, and Snowflake.
