Java Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Java Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship is ideal for students, recent graduates, or entry-level developers who want to gain practical experience in Java development, backend programming, APIs, databases, and software development practices.

The selected candidate will work with experienced developers on real-world projects and gain hands-on exposure to the complete software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
• Assist in developing REST APIs and backend components.
• Work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Write basic unit tests and assist with application testing.
• Work with Git/GitHub for source-code management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Learn and follow software development best practices.
• Document technical work and development processes.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Core Java .
• Understanding of OOP concepts .
• Knowledge of Java Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading basics.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases .
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
