Role: Java Full Stack Engineer – Boq Framework & Google Technologies
Location- San Jose, CA Onsite
Someone who has worked with Google - POps Engineering in the past. Qualifications: •
Proficiency in Google's primary backend programming languages: Java (with a strong understanding of Apps Framework)
- Experience with modern web application development, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of Google's internal Remote Procedure Call (RPC) mechanisms, primarily Stubby.
- Experience building and deploying services using Google's Server Platform, specifically Boq for streamlined production-ready services, or potentially Pod.
- Demonstrated experience with Google's recommended web frameworks: Boq Angular or Boq Wiz for building performant and feature-rich user interfaces.
- Familiarity with data integration patterns and platforms used at Google
- Experience with database technologies, including Spanner. • Knowledge of designing and implementing APIs • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes within Google's landscape. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain new features and enhancements for high-visibility Google’s internal applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of production systems. • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical applications. • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, promoting best practices in code health, security, and scalability. • Engage in code reviews and mentor other engineers. • Migrate applications from one platform / framework to another.
