Job Title: Java/J2EE Developer

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 12+ Months

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java/J2EE Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java technologies, backend development, RESTful APIs, database integration, and application support within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java/J2EE-based applications.
  • Develop scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Work with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and related Java technologies.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and frontend developers to deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
  • Support production deployments and resolve application issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation and development artifacts.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Spring Boot
    • Spring MVC
    • Hibernate/JPA
    • RESTful Web Services
    • Microservices Architecture

  • Experience with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
