• *About The Role**

We are seeking a talented Java Developer/Algorithm Developer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and contribute to pioneering projects focused on GPS data processing, inertial sensor integration, and high-precision mapping. The ideal candidate will have experience in algorithm development, GPS technology, and real-time navigation systems.

Your role will involve developing sophisticated algorithms to improve GPS accuracy, automate detection processes, and build detailed lane-level maps that are crucial for autonomous driving, advanced navigation, and location-based services.

• *Qualifications
• Proven experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience in algorithm development, particularly related to GPS data processing, inertial sensors, and sensor fusion techniques.
• Knowledge of GPS technology, location services, and related data processing methodologies.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and map building, especially lane-level mapping.
• Experience with automation of data analysis and churn detection processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• *Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of algorithms that process high-quality GPS data alongside inertial sensor measurements to achieve centimeter-level accuracy.
• Develop and improve systems that utilize phone-quality GPS data from Android devices to attain sub-meter accuracy.
• Design and implement lane-level maps that support autonomous navigation and advanced driver-assistance systems.
• Automate churn detection processes to identify and analyze data inconsistencies or anomalies efficiently.
• Create real-time, lane-aware navigation solutions that enhance user experience and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GPS and sensor data into existing and new platforms.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization of algorithms to ensure robustness and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GPS technology, sensor fusion, and mapping techniques to continuously improve project outcomes.
