Java Developer - eTrading & Fixed Income Systems

Requirements

Must have:

- Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, multithreading, collections, performance tuning) - Hands-on experience in eTrading systems within the Fixed Income domain - Solid understanding of market microstructure, order management, and trade lifecycle - Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, JMS) and low-latency systems - Familiarity with FIX protocol and electronic trading workflows - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize Java-based applications for Fixed Income eTrading platforms - Collaborate with traders, quants, and business analysts to convert requirements into technical solutions - Ensure low-latency, high-throughput system performance for real-time trading - Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to uphold system reliability - Work closely with infrastructure teams to improve scalability and resilience - Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions - Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory demands in Fixed Income trading
