Java Developer

Duties

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services using REST standards.
• Contribute to front-end development efforts utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express to create seamless user interfaces.
• Manage code repositories and version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure efficient collaboration and code integrity.
• Optimize application performance by analyzing SQL queries, managing MySQL databases, and implementing best practices in database design.
• Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of value.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications built with technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, C++, and VBA while adhering to security protocols like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).

Experience

• Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Java programming language in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, AWS cloud services (such as Azure), and application deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks like React Express, front-end development practices, and RESTful API design principles.
• Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for collaborative code management.
• Strong understanding of database management using SQL and MySQL;

experience with application development involving C#, C++, Python or VBA is a plus.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles and rapid delivery of features.

Pay: $106,527.20 - $128,290.81 per year
