Java Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MongoDB - At least 5 years of experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on the design, development, and deployment of large-scale applications in production environments - Minimum 5 years of professional, design, and open-source contributions - Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, preferably Azure - Solid understanding of Java Spring Boot - Proficient in Full Stack Development - Experience with database management and persistence frameworks, including PostgreSQL, Data Lake, and ADX Object/Relational Mapping - Knowledge of cloud-based development using Azure and Kubernetes - Skilled in web services technologies such as REST and SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML) - Experience with frameworks including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AMQP - Front-end development skills with Thymeleaf, Node.js, HTML, and CSS - Proficiency with build and deployment tools like Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and Git - Familiarity with DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Slack, GitHub, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fluent Bit, and Apache NiFi - Competence in Linux/Unix shell scripting - Strong skills in object-oriented design principles and techniques - Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Experience following Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM - Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, Product Owners, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to gather and understand business requirements - Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and implement effective solutions - Develop detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimations - Research and adopt new technologies to improve processes, security, and performance - Contribute to the development of coding standards and follow best practices and security protocols - Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure long-term enterprise growth objectives are met
