Job Description

Mapjects java developer java web application developer position

This position is responsible for supporting design and development in a team environment.

• You will support application development, and develops approach to solutions.
• Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 - 7 years related experience.

Qualifications

Basics

-development of new or existing web-based applications using Java, (or SOA, Java -Servlets, JSP, JSF, XML, J2EE, Web Services. )

Preferred Skills

-Analytical and creative problem solving skills.

Familiarity with web-based applications

Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Waterfall or agile methodology

Familiarity with bug and change request tracking tools

Education

• BS in an Information Systems or related field of study at Mapjects, we're a team of builders.
