Java Developer

Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Java Backend)

Location: McLean, VA (5 days on-site)

Duration: Contract to Hire

NOTE

: This role is a contract to hire position, open for W2 candidates only; C2C profiles will be disqualified.

Required:

• Backend-focused role; frontend experience is a plus.
• Strong experience with the latest versions of Java and AWS Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and Docker.
• Strong AWS experience, including building and supporting production systems across compute and storage services.
• Experience with S3, EKS, and other AWS containerization services.
• AWS certifications are not required; practical production experience is more important.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes from day one.
• Experience developing and implementing production-ready systems.
• JUnit experience is sufficient for the automation/testing framework.
• Basic understanding of MongoDB is required; some SQL knowledge is a plus.
