Job Purpose:

• Should have strong insight on OOPS concept and good hands on experience on Java and other java based frameworks like Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring Annotation, Spring Security.
• Should have good experience in using AI Coding tools
• Should have hands on experience on messaging platform like Kafka.
• Good working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift is a must.
• Good knowledge of Github, Github copilot
• Good working knowledge of in memory distributed caches (Hazelcast, Gemfire) is good to have.
• Knowledge of other programming languages like Vaadin (UI Framework), Kotlin, scala, shell scripting etc is good to have.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Java/J2EE development, with a strong focus on core Java, object-oriented design, and enterprise application development.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing and building highly scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
• Profound understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and strong SQL proficiency.
• Experience with application servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat.
• Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g. Kafka) and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex production issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Experienced in working on medium to large enterprise projects, preferably in banking / financial services.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
