Requirements

Must have:

- We require strong full stack development expertise, along with familiarity with multiple design approaches.

• We look for solid experience working across the full software delivery lifecycle, including design, build, testing, release, support, and ongoing enhancement.
• We expect a strong command of Agile practices and experience working within at least one common Agile framework.
• We require knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, test-driven development, cloud-based development, application reliability, and security best practices.
• We expect proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• We require a strong foundation in software engineering principles, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement.
• We require formal training in software engineering concepts and at least 6 years of hands-on professional experience.
• We look for Core Java 11 or newer experience, with Spring Boot or a comparable framework.
• We require experience building cloud-native applications, including RESTful microservices, containerized solutions, and resilient, scalable platforms.
• We expect test-driven development experience using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
• We require practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable container orchestration platforms.
• We look for cloud-native deployment experience, ideally with Kubernetes.
• We require experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or AMPS.
• We value experience developing open-source or internal libraries used by other teams.
• We prefer experience supporting high-throughput, mission-critical, high-performance STP platforms.
• We require experience with at least two database technologies, such as Oracle, Cassandra, or in-memory databases and caches.

Company:

We are hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for an onsite role in Tampa, FL, on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. The position is offered in a business casual environment with a compensation range of $50 to $55 per hour, depending on the roles scope, location, market factors, and the candidates background. Our full-time consultants are eligible for benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, and 401K contributions, along with PTO, sick leave, and any other benefits required by applicable state or local laws.
