Java Developer - Spring Boot, AWS

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field with over 8 years of practical development experience - Driven by a passion for engineering excellence, innovative, self-motivated, and eager to mentor and learn every day - Proficient in Domain Driven API design, and experienced with Swagger or Open API Specifications and API Lifecycle management - Expertise in API development utilizing core Java, Spring MVC/Spring Core/Spring Boot, and Web Services (SOAP/REST), with tools like IntelliJ/VSCode in both UNIX and Windows environments, alongside AWS cloud technologies - Experienced in Test Driven Development and unit testing using frameworks/tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, and REST Assured - Proven ability to deploy applications using Jenkins, Maven, and Docker, while utilizing log aggregation tools like Splunk for production application support in AWS - Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-transaction applications in production - Extensive experience addressing common challenges related to scalability, availability, intelligent monitoring, and performance - Capable of collaborating with others and prioritizing tasks based on strategic importance and impact - Familiarity with Github Copilot/DevAssist is a plus

Responsibilities:

- Engage as a hands-on senior Full Stack Engineer, focusing on the development, testing, and engineering of REST APIs - Participate actively in defining and implementing top-tier engineering solutions for our technology offerings - Quickly familiarize yourself with the various components of our platform to contribute to strategic roadmaps and initiatives - Ensure high-quality coding standards and engineering practices are maintained throughout the development cycle
