About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java and SQL development, Microservices architecture, and deployment. This role requires proficiency working with CI/CD pipelines and well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the work model is a hybrid arrangement, combining both remote and on-site work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting web applications and technology solutions that meet client requirements. They will collaborate closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure smooth handoff and operation of production systems, adhering to development and security standards.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of solid Java programming experience, with a strong understanding of Java EE platforms.
• Proficiency in Angular 9+ for developing dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Git.
• Strong understanding of Java and JEE internals including Class Loading, Memory Management, Threads, and Transaction Management.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL, primarily MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Kafka is a plus, indicating familiarity with messaging systems.
• Solid object-oriented programming and design skills, with experience in full application development lifecycle.
• Experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Knowledge of Linux environments, specifically Red Hat Linux, and application servers like Tomcat.
• Experience in Scala and DSL is advantageous.
• Healthcare domain knowledge is a plus, providing context for industry-specific solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing projects under high-pressure deadlines.
