About The Role Stefanini Group is seeking a talented Java Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing web-based Java applications that support our clients' business requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions, following industry-standard development life cycle methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development, along with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, including the development of reuse reference applications that demonstrate the value of component reuse and support MITRE's recommendation to shift-left testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience in Java development or a related area
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Knowledge of Hibernate ORM
• Familiarity with messaging services such as JMS
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Front-end experience with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Understanding of standard development practices, concepts, and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a creative and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications aligned with business needs
• Create detailed design documents following approved life cycle methodologies
• Perform coding, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Resolve technical issues through research, troubleshooting, and investigation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reusable components and reference applications
• Contribute to the development of solutions that support shift-left testing and demonstrate component reuse value
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Maintain documentation related to application design, development, and testing processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance skills and project quality
