# Lead Java Developer
## About the Role
2T Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join its team in New York. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a software developer with 10–15+ years of professional software development experience and strong expertise in Java, Python, and AWS.
The successful candidate will design and develop scalable enterprise applications, contribute to system architecture and technical strategy, troubleshoot complex production issues, and provide technical guidance to development teams. Experience with LangChain or Sierra is required, with opportunities to apply these technologies to AI-enabled application development where applicable.
## Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Python, and AWS.
- Design robust, scalable application architectures based on business and technical requirements.
- Leverage LangChain or Sierra for AI-enabled application development where applicable.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
