Job Description:

Experienced engineer to modernize top tier application(s) by collaborating with product, engineers and designers. The role requires an agile engineering mindset, patience and persistence to solve complex problems, ability to get things done quickly but thoughtfully, roll up the sleeves and dig deep into technology.

Technical Skills:

Professional experience in Java is a must

Experience with relational databases (DB2 a plus) and NOSQL databases

3+ years of JavaScript and/or object-oriented programming is a plus

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SQL, XML, JSON

Experience in one or more modern JavaScript frameworks React, Node. Backbone

Experience with Git Source Control and CI/CD practices

Experience working in a scrum team using agile methodologies

Ability to contribute to Unit Testing framework

Familiarity with cloud services and applicable uses, AWS or Azure

Familiarity with Containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes

Familiarity with micro services architecture

General / Interpersonal skills:

Be a quick learner; Willingness to plan, do, check and adjust

Be action oriented and have a strong sense of urgency

Deliver on commitments

Able to work across the organization

Coach and mentor other engineers

Strong problem-solving skills.

Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.

Ability to explain technical solutions to technical teams and non-technical teams.

6-8 years of experience.
