Java Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Java (11/17/21) Spring Boot and REST API development to design and build scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a strong background in modern backend frameworks cloud-based development and CI/CD practices.
• This role requires a highly skilled engineer who can design robust systems mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in scalability performance and security while delivering high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test and document high-quality software solutions following organizational coding standards.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance enterprise-level applications with strong performance and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify systemic technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Architect systems that enable high scalability reliability and low latency.
• Guide engineering teams in addressing performance scaling and durability challenges.
• Manage and reduce technical debt in existing systems through modernization and refactoring.
• Collaborate with security teams to incorporate secure coding practices early in development.
• Lead development of technical prototypes and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Improve engineering processes and recommend best practices for team productivity and delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior developers on coding standards design patterns and best practices.
• Drive code reuse and eliminate duplication across teams and applications.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems (CIS/MIS) Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience/training

8 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing developing and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments

8 years of professional design and open-source experience Skills Licenses & Certifications

Proficiency in Full Stack Development

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:

o J2EE technologies: Java JSP o Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate SQL Object/Relational Mapping Query performance tuning o Cloud-based development: Cloud Foundry o Web Servers: Tomcat o Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)

o Frameworks: Spring Framework Spring Boot o Front-end: Angular JS Ext JS CSSjQuery o Build/deployment tools: Maven Git Junit Mockito
