Java Microservices Developer (Hybrid – NYC)

New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices
• Build RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Collaborate with frontend teams working on AngularJS applications
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Follow best practices for secure and efficient coding

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of experience in Java development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Microservices architecture
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with AngularJS integration
• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
