TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer II for our TransSuite development team in Peachtree Corners (Atlanta Metropolitan Area), GA.
Join the team in our office at the Technology Park, located near the Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners, and work on strong, high-performance back-end software for our web-based Intelligent Transportation Systems solutions, including our TransSuite suite of traffic management systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following Capabilities
Take the requirements and deliver tested and documented software components that meet the requirements.
Implementation of Java modules utilizing multi-threading with an understanding of thread safety.
Use of collections.
Use of SQL in Java software.
Implementation of software with an understanding of performance requirements.
BS Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering.
A minimum of - 7 years of experience preferred.
Experience with source code management tools such as GIT and change tracking systems such as JIRA.
Application development experience with C# is a plus.
Knowledge in SOAP, XML, JSON, Web Sockets, RESTful services, or similar a plus
This is a hybrid position. However, the selected candidate will be expected to align with the team's in-office schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires frequent use of keyboard and mouse, and must be able to wear a headset for prolonged periods. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
